Vlad, OK2WX, will be active as 9Q2WX from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (D.R.C) between August 20 to September 9, 2023. He will operate on HF bands; CW, SSB, DIGI. QSL via IZ8CCW.

Your CW operation was very excellent.
Regarding 9Q, I still need 160, 80, 40, 15, 12m Bands on CW or SSB.
I am looking foward to make QSOs on the Bans, even I wii be busy days on business.

I am work on 160 metres along 40 years,and not have QSO with 9Q.

Will there be any 160m activity? Only band most need 9Q on.

the only danger here is mosquitoes and malaria at the Congo River, but fortunately the wet season begins with the end of September.
I have a delay, surprise is never end.end.

I tried to work you tonight on FT8, Aug 21 2023 at 23:40 UTC and Aug 22 at 0014 UTC
we exchanged signal reports, both time a -06 from you to me and -10 from me to you. However we didn’t get a RR73 or 73 I got my frequency stepped on both times right after we exchanged reports so I am not sure if you tried to send a RR73 or if as a DX expedition do you normally send a 73?
I will continue trying to complete the contact!

thank you so much That pilleup is terrible. Everybody’s calling and nobody’s listening, no filter helps. The QSO rate drops unnecessarily. We have power drops from a small unstable hydroelectric plant I have to deal with radio resets and PA

Hi Christian, as mentioned many times before our log was not updated daily, because not internet acces avaiilable. Ich jave checked our QSO an you are in log.
